Gigs and Players

We had a good show at Boomerz last night. Boomerz is on 290 West as you approach Oak Hill. Cool little place, kindof a neighborhood bar. Lot's of folks came out which is nice, although the place is so big that with so many people it still looks kinda empty. It was good though. Enjoying playing with our latest bass player Jason Rasberry, a very talented and accomplished player with the same laid back attitude toward music that we have. And then there's our recurring drummer Jason Toll from the Beautiful Mistakes, also very talented and, thank goodness, laid back as well. It's good to have players who aren't overly perfectionist and who take it slow and have a good time. The two Jasons. We like to call them the Brothers Jason or the Jason Two. Daren Underwood formerly of the now, and recently, defunct Redneck Jedi is also playing with us on occasion. He's due to play with us at our debut performance at the Cypress Creek Cafe in Wimberly on April 21st. He was our regular bass player for a while there as we juggled drummers and then he left us to rejoin Redneck Jedi just in time for them to break up. Well that's bands and music for sure. A musician friend of ours always says that if he were ever in a band that didn't break up he'd still be in one! How true how true. Thanks, grace and peace.
